On Wednesday, 6 August 2025, our team came together for our quarterly practice meeting. These gatherings, are not only to discuss important updates, but also to share a meal and enjoy each other’s company. The warm and engaging atmosphere reflected the supportive, collegial culture we value so much at Summers Family Practice.

The agenda for this meeting was both productive and forward-looking. Key topics included improving the management of chronic conditions through the new care plan model, gathering and responding to patient feedback to ensure the patient’s perspective remains central, and reviewing workplace health and safety measures.

Practical issues, such as refining processes to reduce the risk of needlestick injury, were also discussed, reinforcing our commitment to the wellbeing of both patients and staff.

By incorporating medical updates, safety improvements, and patient-centered approaches, these meetings not only contribute to the continuous education of our staff but also enhance the care we deliver every day.

At Summers Family Practice, we know that the best outcomes come from teamwork. Our staff value these meetings as a platform to share ideas, foster collaboration between doctors and administrative team members, and keep patient care at the heart of everything we do. It is this shared passion for excellence that inspires us to continue providing high-quality healthcare for our community.
