Dr Fiona Murphy
BSc, MBBS (Hons) , FRACGP
Fiona joined the team in 2008 . She graduated from the University of NSW with Honours in 1999 and spent several years in the hospital system, initially on the physician training pathway, prior to switching to GP training. She gained her FRACGP in 2007, receiving the Tony Buhagiar Memorial Medal for the highest mark in the NSW/ACT RACGP exam.
She enjoys spending time with her two children and their friends as well as studying dog psychology and behaviour with her three legged German Shepherd cross, Duke.
Fiona offers comprehensive care to patients of all ages and particularly enjoys caring for multiple generations within families at the practice. Her areas of special interest include Mental Health, Women's Health and Chronic Disease Management, so she appreciates her patients making long appointments as required.
