Dr Karen Griffiths

We’re delighted to welcome Dr Karen Griffiths to our team. Karen joined us in October 2025, after relocating to Australia with her family in 2024. She brings 25 years of experience as a General Practitioner, having graduated from the University of Wales, Cardiff in 1995. While at medical school, she worked closely alongside Dr Sarah Bird, a much-loved GP who many of our patients will remember fondly from her time at our practice.

Karen holds postgraduate diplomas in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, as well as Sexual & Reproductive Health, and she is fully qualified in fitting contraceptive implants. Her special interests lie in women’s health, chronic disease management, and all aspects of general practice. Patients will value her thoughtful, holistic approach and her commitment to working in partnership to support long-term health and wellbeing.

Outside of medicine, Karen enjoys yoga, golf, travel, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Dr Griffiths will be available for appointments on Mondays from 20th of October, and in November she will expand her availability to Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Bookings are now open, and we encourage patients to make a longer appointment if transferring into her care.
