As Covid strains continue to evolve and spread, it is more important than ever to ensure adequate protection for you and your family members. The new XBB vaccine covers an updated common subvariant that will help your immune system to better defend against evolving forms of Covid.
As per NSW Health recommendations:
For adults 75 years or older: Receive a booster if more than 6 months have passed since your last dose or confirmed Covid-19 infection
For adults 65 to 75 years old: Consider a booster if 6 months have passed since your last dose or confirmed Covid-19 infection
For adults 18 to 64 years old: Consider a booster only if you are severely immunocompromised or at higher risk of severe disease, and if 6 months have passed since your last dose or confirmed covid-19 infection
For children 5 to 17 years old: Booster doses may be considered only for children at risk of serious illness.
For children under 5 years old: Booster doses are not recommended
